Overview

The Eco-Fume automated fuming unit has been developed and manufactured for forensic departments. Many of these units are already installed and operating with excellent results. The unit uses Cyanoacrylate to create a fume inside the cabinet that then attaches to latent fingerprints on items placed in cabinet to be tested. 

This equipment incorporates many features designed to make it a truly user-friendly apparatus. The automated functions carry out the entire fuming process with little operator involvement, yet keep operators advised of the unit's progress throughout. Numerous safeguards are incorporated to ensure consistency of process and a safe environment for operators. The time-consuming task of cleaning, often encountered with alternative machines, has been designed-out by the use of low-cost, easily cleaned and disposable liners. 

The control unit and fume production cell are readily removable from the main tank for those applications requiring the process to be applied to alternative vessels.
